BELIZE BEATS BRAZIL!

Belize’s Under-18 National Basketball team is in Argentina competing in the FIBA U-18 Americup tournament, and today, Belize opened Group B’s play with a game against Brazil. Belize’s lead hovered around 6 points for the majority of the game but ballooned to about 14 points late in the game. Belize led for most of the game and won every single quarter, except for the last when Brazil made a final push – a push which brought Brazil to within 2 points in the final seconds.

On Monday, on their X page, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Fonseca met with his Guatemalan counterpart, Carlos Ramiro Martinez.
