A group of Sanpedranos who reside in the San Pablo area of that Municipality have collected signatures in a petition that was sent to Hon. Orlando Habet, Minister of Sustainable Development. The residents are concerned about the removal of mangroves and the filling up of wetlands near their subdivision. Today, Habet said he hasn’t received the petition as yet, but spoke on what would need to be done in such a situation.
